The Business of Floristry
This year saw the first 19 week course held every second Thursday evening.
I have been teaching the business side of floristry as well as floral styling to my 2014 group who are just delightful!
I am so proud of their journeys and their progress thus far. They graduate in November and have a few more mountains to climb and personal mastery bridges to cross until then and so we continue to meet and grow.
Next year I will be running the same course and will only be selecting 6 students to take the journey with me, so if you are serious about starting a business in flowers please send me an email or call me to discuss this course next year and to apply.
For more information email email@example.com and include your contact tel nr so that I can call you to discuss the enrollment requirements.
I saw this little dry flower on a walk in the Waterberg. It was August and I was facilitating a healing retreat at Kingfisher farm. There amidst the driest of dry Winter days, on a dusty little road, this little wild flower managed to produce a radiance of delicateness that stopped me in my tracks. Without colour, without fragrance and without much else, it swept me to it and as I leaned in and low I could have sworn I heard it whisper to me "Adapt, be brave, hold on, stay true"
So I did.
Returning to the soft-center of Self. Turning inwards.
As we draw to the close of what has been an extremely difficult year for some, an extremely abundant and joyous year for others, I wanted to share this experience I had with you.
May you all be deeply blessed in finding colour in dry times, in holding ground through the droughts of the emotions we bare and may you make your own magic even when it feels you have nothing to give.
I bow to you.
With Light and Love
